Autumn how I love thee.
Burnish reds and orange leaves, comforting stews, amazing seasonal produce (hello kabocha squash!), cosy nights in, open fires, candles, bonfire night, Halloween, spiced hot chocolate and wrapping up warm in beautiful knitwear. Boy, what’s not to love about autumn.
One thing that I love most about autumn is the fashion. For some reason I find that I can be more experimental with what I wear and find it easy to dress as the weather is pretty constant, unlike a traditional British summer. I’ve been getting some fashion inspiration from the latest magazines and selected a few things to bring my autumnal wardrobe bang up to date.
1. Khaki Trim Parka, Next
2. Light Brown Suedette Tassel Ankle Boots, New Look
3. Knitted Mixed Stich Jumper, Topshop
4. Burnout Tee, Topshop
5. Half Sleeve Bretton Stripe Tee, Topshop
6. Glamorous Pencil Skirt In Quilted PU, ASOS
7. Black and Red Floral Zip Front Skater, New Look
8. Dark Wash Skinny Jeans, Zara
9. Jeweled Flowers Necklace, Zara
I just love that Parka jacket, it’s on the top of my list of things to buy. I think it would look fab with ankle boots, thick tights and a floral skater dress. Also, the quilted leather skirt has caught my eye. It’s not my usual taste but I think it would really work with a basic t-shirt, tights and ankle boots for an everyday look.
Now all that is left to do is go shopping!
What is on your autumn fashion wish list?
Do you find it easier to dress in the summer or autumn/winter?

Oooh I love that pencil skirt! I find it easier to dress in summer because you just have more choice. Now everything needs a cardigan or a scarf and it makes things more tricky. I do like a pretty scarf though….
Same here they can really brighten up an outfit 🙂
I find autumn and winter easier because I can layer up with cardis, boots, scarfs etc.
I love all of the cosy knitwear in autumn and winter.
