Ah June, so you have come to an end my friend. Shame, because you have been nothing but fabulous!
I can’t believe that’s it’s over already and we are over half way through the year. The sun finally made an appearance here in the UK, for more than just a day, producing those long summer days and nights that I love so much. Since the weather has been so great it has meant that we have had some great days out over the past month.
We celebrated Alfie’s first unofficial Father’s Day with a weekend in London which included an evening at the theatre to see War Horse and afternoon tea at Harrods. I highly recommend War Horse if you are considering seeing it on stage, such a wonderful and well acted production.
There was also a lovely and sunny Sunday afternoon spent at Blenheim Palace at the flower show. We hadn’t planned to attend the flower show, but I’m so glad that we did as it turned out to be more than just flowers, lots of craft and food stalls were also there.
Last month included some really exciting blog projects, one of which included being followed and interviewed by a film crew. I can’t wait to share this particular project with you when it finally goes live.
Also, there was the California Almonds event which I attended in London, attended by campaign ambassador Denise van Outen.
I’ve been trying to stay accountable with my workouts with the #1PercentMore challenge with some positive results. I’m loving the yoga and walking combined with my gym workouts.

I’ve also been getting busy in the kitchen this month and shared some delicious and healthy recipes on the blog like these Peach and Coconut Cream Popsicles, my Summertime Vegetarian Frittata, Fruit and Nut Raw Chocolate and a Prosciutto Ham, Cheese and Corn Crustless Quiche recipe.

July could be a very exciting month indeed, involving some potential travel plans. I don’t want to say too much in case they don’t come to fruition, but it’s looking very likely and involves some summer sun, yay!
Of course, now that I’m in the third trimester of my pregnancy I also want to finalise a few things like getting the house ready and buying some of the final bits that we need, firming up my birth plan and attending my antenatal classes. Like I’ve already mentioned on the blog, I have been feeling very overwhelmed by it all lately, but I’m now taking it in my stride and just going to do the best I can. I’m going to take the warrior approach and try not to worry too much, we are making progress on the preparation front, slowly but surely.
How was June for you? Do you have any exciting plans for July?

What an amazing month June has been. All the best for July!:-) x
Same to you Dana!
I love that quote at the bottom!
It’s cool right!
Those peach and coconut popsicles look amazing, I am obsessed with anything coconut anyway whether it is eating it, slapping it on my skin, cooking with it and so on x
A girl after my own heart, love coconut.
I’ve been trying to do more yoga, but things seem to keep getting in the way! I also walk 30 mins as often as I can during the week. Keep up the good work, and hopefully I’ll be right there with you! 🙂
Doing something is better than nothing, don’t beat yourself up over it.
June was a fantastic month for you! I hope that July will be just as eventful 🙂
