It’s been so long since I shared one of my healthy living food hauls on the blog. I’m quite nosey and love looking at what people have in their fridges or keep in their handbags, so posts like this are right up my street! Recently I’ve been introduced to a new website called Clean Snax that stock some great healthy living products, so I decided to treat myself to a little bundle of goodies.
I’ve wanted to try Barney Butter for ages, so that was the first thing to go in my shopping basket when I saw that it was stocked on the website. I bought both the cocoa and coconut and raw and chia flavoured almond butter. They also stock the single serve sachets too, which make perfect snacks on the go or if you’re anything like me, it saves you from eating the entire jar. I’ve already started on the jar of cocoa and coconut almond butter, just divine. I’m going to have to lock this stuff away because it’s seriously like crack to me!

A family movie session with my two boys has become one of my favourite things to do. Movie munchies are must for me and I always seem to end up diving into to Alfie’s bowl of Butterkist popcorn, which isn’t the healthiest option. To combat my recent sugar-filled movie tendencies I’ve stocked up on some Metcalfe’s Skinny Topcorn, that is much lower in calories and sugar. The sweet cinnamon spice flavour sounds awesome!
My snack bar stash was non-existent until I stocked up on these little gems. Quest Bars are one of my favourite ‘clean’ protein snack bars, but they are tricky to get hold of in the UK and have a hefty price tag, so they tend to always be a treat purchase. When buying them, I spotted the R Bars and fancied giving them a try – the chocolate peanut butter caramel bar had my name on it. I love Beond bars too, so these were a no-brainer buy for me.
The Hummus Chips from this brand are seriously addictive and one of my favourite savoury snacks. Since discovering them, I have come across lentil chips and these bags of quinoa chips that I bought in the chilli lime and sour cream and chives flavour.
These organic rice cakes were actually bought with Aiden in mind because I like that they are unsalted compared to the other rice cakes from this range. We like them topped with hummus or mashed avocado.
Also, I finally treated myself to a spiralizer, which I cannot wait to arrive so I can make proper courgetti instead of making courgette ribbons using my speed peeler, it’s just not the same. I bought this Hemsley + Hemsley one because I’m a bit obsessed with these sisters and I just adore their recipe book for some healthy inspiration. Talking of fab recipe books, I also bought Get The Glow by Madeleine Shaw. I’ve followed her Instagram account for a while now and to save me drooling over her fantastic healthy creations I can now have a go at them myself instead.

OOOOOH! I’m such a nosey so-in-so too, and food hauls are my favourite kind of hauls. Thanks for introducing me to the website, I’m off to have a browse. That chocolate peanut caramel bar has my name all over too! It sounds delicious. Also those jars of almond butter sound so fun, I love the idea of the sachets to have with you on the go and to just try out the different flavours too.
I always find myself adding half of the Planet Organic website to an imaginary basket and wracking up a few hundred pounds worth of healthy goodies.
You’re going to LOVE the Madeleine Shaw book, it is by far the best healthy lifestyle book I own – it’s all very realistic and relatable and no fancy ingredients required. I also bought the Hemsley & Hemsley spiralizer as I was fed up of feeling quite limited with what I could do with the strands from my julienne peeler. It’s been courgetti all week and will be again this week!

Hahaha! I’m exactly like you on iHerb with my pretend shopping basket. I could spend a fortune on that site. I cannot wait for my new spiraliser to come, sounds like I chose a good one. 🙂
Those quinoa chips are calling my name! This looks like a great haul full of yummy goodness!
Those are great and contain less calories than regular crisps/chips too.
I have been juicing for the past three weeks but eating one sensible meal either being for lunch or dinner. I have been looking around for things to snack on inbetween or just when I fancy a treat, so glad I found this post! I shall be taking note!!

Glad you found my post helpful Emilly. Thos snack bars are really great for when you’re on the go.
Wow, all those flavoured almond butters look amazing and delicious!
They really are, yum! 🙂
Those butters look delicious! I’ve never heard of them before. I might have to check them out.
They are definitely worth checking out, so yummy.
I really want to try the Quest bars as I hear so much about them from the US blogs. I also love that popcorn – so so good.
And the quinoa chips sound really interesting!
I love Quest bars, but they are a bit expensive (import charges etc) so they’re always a treat when I buy them. They do have it good in the US with all of the amazing snack bars and health foods.
I love the sound of Barney Butters! I’ve never heard of the brand before but would love to give it a try now that I’ve seen it here. I need to check that CleanSnax website! Thanks Jemma for sharing this!
I’ve tried Kallo’s unsalted rice cakes before and as a snack they are not too bad if you have them with something else.

The rice cakes can be a bit bland without a topping to be honest. 🙂 The almond butters are seriously addictive. I’ve had to hide mine to save me from myselg. 🙂
Oooh those Barney butters sound amazing!
They’re so good Claire!
Yum! I love almond butter! It’s great to have some healthy eating inspiration.

Ha! I don’t think that I will be sharing either. 🙂
Of all you’ve mentioned I have tried the popcorns and usually pick those up for movie night in, they are lovely popcorns. Loved this post of healthy goodies.
I haven’t tried them yet, but the cinnamon sounds amazing and I can’t wait to get stuck in.
Those nut butters sound so good- I love the Justins almond with vanilla- have not ordered any from i-herb in a while.
I keep reading about quest bars, but I don’t even know what some of the ingredients are, so I can’t even work out if they are vegetarian or not (and I am not a huge fan of whey powder).
Oooh I LOVE haul posts, you’ve given me loads of great ideas for products to check out next time I do a big shop!
Going to check out that website now 🙂
