I’m going to start this post in the very typical fashion of saying, I can’t believe how fast May went by and it only seems like yesterday that I was writing my April recap post.   It’s been another brilliant month for me, despite it starting on a bad note it did get better.

My theme rather than word for the month was DREAM BIG, not letting my fears hold me back and behind the scenes I have made some decisions that are a whole new direction for me.  Sorry to be so annoyingly cryptic, but I don’t want to reveal anything until everything is set in stone.  Also, I’ve worked hard on my online portfolio, working with some new clients, growing my blog and revenue by being bold and taking that leap of faith by dreaming big and then even bigger.

Earlier in the month I thought I would treat myself to a little healthy living haul from a new to me website called Clean Snax.  Surprisingly, I haven’t eaten all of these snack bars yet and the jars of almond butter haven’t evaporated into thin air or should that be inhaled by moi.  I do like a good foodie haul and this stash was full of some firm favourites of mine.

As part of my haul, I also treated myself to a spiraliser, something that I’ve lusted over for ages. I’m so glad that I finally took the plunge and bought one because I’ve spiralisd the hell out of every vegetable in the fridge since – it would seem that I’m obsessed!

We had some gorgeous sunny days last month and it was a great chance to get out in the garden and start getting it ready for summer. I bought some beautiful bedding plants to add a splash of colour and Alfie did all the manly stuff like paint the decking.  There was an ice cream van at the garden centre that I took advantage of and had my first ice cream of the year.

Last month I started the Couch to 5K training programme and have really enjoyed getting stuck in.  I’m just loving running at the moment and I can easily see it becoming a passion of mine.   My Race for Life event is only 6 weeks away and I’m very excited and want to enter some more races this summer to keep this running bug going.

About Page (1)

Of course, a major thing for me last month was revamping the blog, which has been so well received by you all.  Thank you for all of your lovely comments on the redesign and I’m really happy that you like it.  I’m still tweaking bits here and there, but essentially it’s done.  Another big thing was my first newsletter making its way into your inboxes I was really nervous when I clicked send, but so glad that I took that leap.  I also started creating a bundle of recipes for my first E-book that I’m working on that will be exclusive to email subscribers, you can sign up here

In other news, my guest post over on the Clipper Teas blog went live all about the power of nature and it ability to heal, which you can read here.

You all seemed to love my Matcha Tea Energy Balls recipe, it is really a delicious afternoon pick me up if you haven’t tried it already.  I also blogged an easy and simple lunch idea with my Loaded Pitas with Roasted Vegetable Salad recipe too.  There is another delicious recipe coming up on the blog later this week so look out for that, but in the meantime check out my newly organised recipe page, I’m still busy admiring it!

My word for June is PLAN,  we’re in the middle of setting a date for Aiden’s christening this summer and I’m really looking forward to organising that and a big celebration afterwards. I’m planning on getting the majority of my E-book written and finished this month, which I’m very excited about. Also, with my cryptic message at the beginning of the post I have a lot of planning to do for that too, which could mean some big changes for us and I really hope that we can pull it off.
