I’ve recently really got into juicing and have enjoyed all of the endless flavour combinations that can be concocted. With all of the experimentation with juices that I tried recently I feel like a bit of a cocktail shaker of the juicing world.

I made this Strawberry and Mint Juice at the weekend as a delicious way to cool down from the heat. Out of all of the juices that I have tried over the past couple of weeks this has become a firm favourite and I will be making lots more of it in the future.

The benefits that juicing has over smoothies is that your body is able to absorb the nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins from the fruit and vegetables a lot more quickly.  It’s a given that juices can be a pain in the ass to clean than a blender, but there are so worth that extra effort.

I get a lot of questions regarding which particular juicer I use and it’s the Dualit 88305 Juice Extractor. I highly recommend this one as it’s very straightforward to use and it comes apart to make the cleaning side of things easier.

Oh my, this was so refreshing and it tastes fab!  I mentioned recently that I have been enjoying adding fresh herbs to my meals (especially breakfast!) and the strawberry and mint is a tasty combination.

Juicing may seem like a fad to many but to me there are another great vehicle to get even more fruit and veggies into my diet.

Are you into juicing? What are your favourite juices to make?
