eBay has recently come into it’s own with an innovative idea for you to compile your wonderful discoveries in one place – a new feature that will totally change the way you use eBay! The new eBay collections platform allows you to get in touch with your creative side and pin your wonderful finds onto specific boards, enhancing your consumer experience.
This exciting new platform couldn’t be easier to use. Once logged in and you have found your treasured item you can click on the item to enter the product details. Under the ‘add to basket’ button there is now a brand new button, ‘add to collection.’ This allows you to pin to a particular board or collection that you have created. For instance you may want to add a tea pot listing to your ‘tea party’ collection. You can create beautiful and inspiring collections at the click of a button.
My first collections are based around a shabby chic inspired home and full of vintage pretties. I have chosen rooms that I use the most such as the kitchen and living room and scoured the eBay aisles looking for items that I thought would look nice or just generally fancied the look of. I also explored with interest what eBay had to offer for the hallway, quite and under used room, and the garden. I sometimes find that garden furniture and inspiration for the garden can be quite limited, but there was so much on offer. These collections are inspired by my love of interior design, retro and vintage accessories to create a homely home.
