Happy Friday, did you all have a good week?  Mine has been a little bit hectic but I have Sunday off from with this week and I cannot wait to spend some quality time with Alfie.

Recently I have been a little bit lazy with getting my product reviews up on the blog.   I have been sent some lovely products to review over the past couple of months that I want to share with you.  Since I have quite a few products to review I’m going to bulk review them in one post and tell you my thoughts about them.  I will back to my more detailed individual product reviews here-on-after.

Ryvita

I was sent a lovely Ryvita’s haul just after Christmas.  The package included: Sweet Chilli Thins, Original Crackerbread, Hint of Chilli Crispbread and Mediterranean Herb Crispbread. In most cases I think Ryvita crackers are given a hard time and perceived to be dry and “cardboard” like however I really enjoy them.  They are great as side to salads, soups and great vehicles for hummus and cottage cheese.  For me they make a lovely alternative to bread which can sometimes leave me feeling a little bit bloated.  The full Ryvita range is available in most supermarkets and can often be found on promotional.

Lizi’s Granola

I’m a big lover of granola, especially when combined with Greek yoghurt and honey, yum!  If it wasn’t for the fact of self control I could easily eat a bag in one sitting, so when Lizi’s Granola sent me a bag of their Organic Granola I was a very happy bunny indeed!

With a mix of organic agave nectar, jumbo rolled oats, nuts, sunflower seeds, desiccated coconut and black treacle this granola has the perfect crunch and is really delicious. This granola is also dairy free, contains no GMOs and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.  I would happily buy this organic granola again as I really enjoyed it and it’s great that it’s now more widely available in health stores and supermarkets.

Alibi Drinks

I was a little bit dubious about these initially as I usually keep away from carbonated drinks as much as possible and I was also wary of the sugar content. I received both flavours, Citrus and Pomegranate, the pomegranate won me over!

Alibi have developed the first lightly sparkling pretox health drink.  They are full of vitamins such as vitamin C and vitamin B’s, which are great for protecting the body against oxidative stress, used in cell growth and metabolism.  Also the drinks are packed with the added benefits of herbal extracts such as milk thistle, artichoke and ginkgo to name a few. They are far better for you than fizzy drinks as the sugar content is very low and plus you have the added bonus of the vitamins and herbal extracts.  I really enjoyed drinking these sparkling drinks and loved knowing that I was getting my fix of nutrients to boot.

You can buy Alibi drinks from Holland and Barrett and Waitrose.

Lord Poppington’s

Last month I was lucky enough to get my hands on some fabulous popcorn by a company called Lord Poppington’s, which is actually made in my hometown Leicester.  I just love the quirky branding and packaging.  I received all four flavours: Sweet and Salty, Lightly sea-salted, Chilli and Lime and Four Cheeses.  Obviously the Chilli and Lime and Four Cheeses are quite unique popcorn flavours and I was intrigued by them the most.  I have to say that I was very impressed with the balance of flavours across the whole range and would highly recommend these as a healthy snack.

Have you tried any of these products before?  What did you think of them?
