An important part of my hygiene routine in the morning is to apply deodorant after showering. It sounds quite trivial when you think about it, but for me it’s just as essential as my cleanse, tone and moisturise mantra that I swear by. I’ve tried a few deodorants in my time, there are so many on offer that it can be quite some time until you find one that works for you. I’ve had some experiences in the past where horrid white stains have been left on my clothes from my deodorant or it simply didn’t provide me with enough protection. Something like applying deodorant should be easy and straightforward without leaving you worrying about the possibility of sweat patches and stains.
NIVEA have developed it’s new Powder Touch, an antiperspirant with impact as well as a gentle touch. One of the main ingredients is Kaolin powder, which is responsible for the resulting silky feeling and the quick drying action. I use MAN deodorant!!! It doesn’t leave ANY marks on my clothing. It makes me feel like a man is hugging me 🙂
Totally get what you mean. I love the smell of my hubby’s deodorant.
I prefer to use natural deodorants. The ingredient list on these products are absolutely horrible, full of chemical nasties that are linked to lots of health issues.
I’ve definitely jumped on the more natural bandwagon with my pregnancy. But, I think that at least some products like this are taking on board some nourishing skin aspects, despite the chemicals.
This product is full of chemicals that are not good for your body. I am surprised your are recommending it when you are so into your health. The chemicals go straight into your lymph nodes. Check out the ingredients x
Hi Cat, thanks for the comment. I haven’t really recommended the product, but merely informed my readers of it’s presence on the market and some of it’s features. I never knew about the lymph node thing, thanks for letting me know. Like I mentioned to Lauren, I’m not a fan of chemical based deodorants particularly now that I’m pregnant. But, what I like about this one is that they have take in to account some nourishing skin aspects that I think my readers would like to know about, despite the chemicals. As you will notice, some people are fans of this brand, so I will leave it to the individuals to decide what is best for them, like always. X
Nivea do make some lovely stuff. Not seen this in the shops yet, but will be checking it out.

I like the Nivea stick ones (the sensitive one), but I am now trying to avoid aluminium- does it contain it?
