Over the past few weeks I have picked up a few “new-to-me” hair and beauty products. I thought it would be nice to share these with you in a post and tell you a bit about them and how I got on with them.
Aussie Hair Miracle Moist
When my normal shampoo ad conditioner ran out a few months ago I used it as an opportunity to try something new. Trialing new products on my hair does leave me in a state of anxiety about weather it can control my unruly barnet- think Hermoine Granger from Harry Potter!
My hair is typical bone dry and frizzy and therefore needs something that can lock in the moisture and keep it looking healthy and nourished. When I was doing my weekly shop in Tesco’s I saw that the Aussie range was on offer so I decided to take the plunge and bought the Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner, plus the 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor.
I have to say that I was really impressed with the condition that these left my hair in even after the first time. The 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor is one of life’s greatest inventions and I use it as a deep conditioning treatment on my hair. I love that you only have to leave it on for 3 minutes, which makes it super quick and easy. They left my hair feeling super soft, healthy and manageable.
Vanilla Shea Butter
I bought this after wanting to revamp my skincare routine. I had previously used Liz Earle’s face moisturizer but was finding it a little bit too heavy. After loving the effect of coconut oil on my skin I was intrigued to discover the advantages of using 100% Shea butter too.
This is a 100% natural moisturizer that is free from chemical nasties. I used it after cleaning and toning in the morning and at night. It leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. It can also be used on dry patches of skin around the body such as your elbows and knees as well, making it quite versatile. The vanilla scent also smells really lovely.
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Instant Miracle Mask
I was sent this product to review a few weeks ago. Every now and then I love to have a bit of a pampering session, which usually includes a facial so I thought that these would be a great addition to my pampering routine.
The masks are really easy to whip up. You simply mix one sachet of the mask to 60mls of water and give it a shake in the mixer provided. The mask is applied in really thick layers and left on for about 15 minutes. The only problem that I have with face masks normally is that they can be a pain to take off. However, this was really easy to remove as it peels away from the skin almost like a prosthetic mask, revealing smooth and radiant looking skin. The Overnight Facial acts as an extra conditioner treatment for the skin so you wake up with glowing skin. I really enjoyed using these products.
What beauty and hair products are you currently loving?
Have you used any of these products before? What did you think?

I’m loving the soap and glory products right now – they’re probably full of chemicals but they smell nice and leave my skin feeling lovely 🙂 the shea butter is a good idea!
I’ve heard that those products are wonderful. 🙂
Green People are my favourite, but I’m loving pukka right now! Coconut oil is always a staple too!
I really want to try the Green People Vit D moisturiser.
I used to use that 3 minute miracle stuff when I was in college! They changed the packaging here in the states though (it’s all purple) and so I just kind of forgot about it! I forgot how much I liked it!
It’s fantastic isn’t it! 🙂
I have the same hair problem but I like the Aussie products (and they smell gorgeous). Frizz Ease is good too, especially the serum.
I like the look of that moisturiser, where did you get it? The face masks look really good too; I should pamper my skin more because of the time it spends getting battered by all weathers!
I’m really impressed with the Aussie products, especially if they can tame my hair! I go the moisturiser in a local natural beauty shop, it smells divine!
