For many years now, I’ve experimented with different milk alternatives instead of drinking cow’s milk.  Cow’s milk always seemed too hard for my stomach to digest and used to feel heavy in my stomach.  Recently I’ve given a2 Milk a test run and been pleasantly surprised that it tastes no different to regular cow’s milk but feels much easier on my stomach.

To tell you a little a bit about a2 Milk, unlike regular cow’s milk it only has the easy to digest A2 protein from specially selected cows that are naturally free from the inflammatory A1 protein that is the cause of bloating, cramps and indigestion in thousands of people.

a2 Milk has conducted some research that has revealed that all the participants in the trial (half of which were diagnosed as lactose intolerant, and the other half self-reported as sensitive to dairy) felt comfortable drinking a2 Milk.  This research is groundbreaking as it could mean that lactose intolerance is a myth for many.

Since all the participants didn’t experience any of the uncomfortable symptoms that they usually feel after drinking cow’s milk, it means that most of these symptoms could be down to the A1 protein, found in regular cow’s milk.

Here’s a short animation that explains everything in more detail:

This research could transform the lives of many who think they are lactose intolerant and could see them return to drinking wholesome, nutritious natural cows’ milk, instead of the processed alternatives they often resort to such as lactose-free milks and artificial plant-based drinks.

Do you suffer from lactose intolerance?  Have you ever tried a2 Milk before?
