One of my fashion loves is shoes. I have such a huge collection that I really cannot warrant buying any more, but you now how it is, you see a pair and you have just got to have them – it’s almost as if it was meant to be. I know Carrie Bradshaw would approve of my excuse for owning so many shoes any way.
I know all of you Sex and the City fans (me included!) will know that Carrie is all about her heels, but sometimes a girl just needs a little bit of comfort. Long working hours can take its toll on the condition and health of your feet, even if you are just sitting at a desk all day. Flat shoes don’t have to be of the monster orthopedic variety either, now flat shoes are highly fashionable and extremely pretty. I’ve picked out some of my favourites below:

I think flat shoes have come a long way in recent years, especially in their variety – ballerina pumps, pointed flats, brogues and moccasins. All of these shoes would make any smart or casual outfit pop with colour. Shoes are a great fashion accessory, but these days they don’t have to be uncomfortable.

I live in trainers so flats are my preferred choice but I do have some lovely 1940’s style heels from clarks that are so comfy : )
Flats are definitely my choice too, but it’s nice to out heels on and feel glam
now and then 🙂
Because I’m so tall I tend to live in flats or trainers but buying shoes ends up being such a nightmare! I’m a size nine, which not all places stock and I have very wide feet as well. New Look are great with their range of wide fit shoes and lots of my collection come from there but sometimes it would be nice to have more of a choice. 🙁
I love number 3. I think I am going to have to get myself some of those.
