I can’t believe that it’s time for me to blog my annual gift guide again. Seriously, where has this year gone? I love cruising the virtual aisles and picking out beautiful gift ideas that I would love to buy my readers.
Like last year’s gift guide, I want to continue with the theme of making time for yourself because I think that it’s a positive habit to take into the new year. Making sure that our needs are met is a constant struggle that we all deal with and it’s definitely going to be a passion project of mine next year. With that said, I’ve selected some gorgeous gift ideas to help encourage you to practice some sacred self care and make time just for you in your daily routine. I really hope that you love them as much as I do.
1. The Universe Has Your Back: A 52-Card Deck
I bought this card deck a few weeks ago and as soon as I opened it I knew that I would love it. I use affirmation cards on a regular basis to help give me some guidance and focused and these beautifully illustrated cards make a wonderful gift
2. Pom Pom Blanket
Now, who doesn’t love anything with a pom pom sewn on to it? I’m a bit obsessed at the moment. This blanket from Marks and Spencers looks all kinds of cosy and the perfect way to snuggle up with a good book for some peaceful downtime and relaxation.
3. Meraki Scented Candles
Regular readers will know that I love a scented candle, I often have one burning on my desk while I work. One of my favourite candle brands is Meraki, they’re a Scandinavian company who make their candles using soybean oil and fragranced with essential oils. I’ve gone through quite a few of them after discovering them earlier this year and really like their affordability factor as well as their gorgeous scents.
4. Cowshed Sleepy Cow Bath Salts
A long candlelit bath is the ultimate way to unwind and relieve any tension or stress. These bath salts are a lovely way to take your bath to the next level with the added benefits from the essential oils, Himalayan sea salt, Vitamin E, and olive oil.
5. Rifle Paper Co. Birds of a Feather Notebooks
Journalling has been revolutionary for me, it’s a fantastic way to spend some time with yourself, your thoughts and your feelings. Having a beautiful journal to keep your innermost thoughts safe is a must if you’re a stationery addict like me. Rifle Paper Co. makes the prettiest notebooks and I love the bird design on this set.
6. Cosy Cable Knit Slippers
How warm and cosy do these look? I’m all for comfort around the house these slippers just look perfect and they come in 3 different colours too.
7. Lumie Bodyclock
I’m massive on having a morning routine to help ease me into my day rather than feeling like I’ve been thrown into it. I’ve looked at these body clocks for a while and think that they would be a great addition to anybody’s morning routine to wake you up gradually – a much nicer way to wake up, especially if you’re not naturally a morning person.
8. Dressing Gown
When you’re trying to make some time to relax, wrapping yourself in something cosy makes it feel even better. This super soft dressing gown is a must for a slow and gentle weekend to keep the chill at bay.
9. At My Table: A Celebration of Home Cooking
Nigella can do no wrong in my eyes, she’s the ultimate kitchen goddess and her passion and appetite for food is inspiring. Have you been watching her new TV series to accompany her new book?
10. Letter Board
I bought one of these similar to this last month and it’s been wonderful having it sit on the wall in my office. I fill it with an inspiring quote that I feel like I have a deep connection with at that time. It’s a great way to lift, encourage and support you.
