For many years now, I’ve experimented with different milk alternatives instead of drinking cow’s milk. Cow’s milk always seemed too hard for my stomach to digest and used to feel heavy in my stomach. Recently I’ve given a2 Milk a test run and been pleasantly surprised that it tastes no different to regular cow’s milk but feels much easier on my stomach.
To tell you a little a bit about a2 Milk, unlike regular cow’s milk it only has the easy to digest A2 protein from specially selected cows that are naturally free from the inflammatory A1 protein that is the cause of bloating, cramps and indigestion in thousands of people.

a2 Milk has conducted some research that has revealed that all the participants in the trial (half of which were diagnosed as lactose intolerant, and the other half self-reported as sensitive to dairy) felt comfortable drinking a2 Milk. This research is groundbreaking as it could mean that lactose intolerance is a myth for many.
Since all the participants didn’t experience any of the uncomfortable symptoms that they usually feel after drinking cow’s milk, it means that most of these symptoms could be down to the A1 protein, found in regular cow’s milk.
Here’s a short animation that explains everything in more detail:
This research could transform the lives of many who think they are lactose intolerant and could see them return to drinking wholesome, nutritious natural cows’ milk, instead of the processed alternatives they often resort to such as lactose-free milks and artificial plant-based drinks.
Do you suffer from lactose intolerance? Have you ever tried a2 Milk before?
*Post commissioned by a2 Milk, but all opinions are my own.

I dont suffer from any intolerance but it was great to hear of new advances for people that do. k x
It’s great that it’s all based on science too!
That’s what I thought too, such a great product!
I’m almost certain I’m lactose intolerant as cow’s milk automatically bloats me and leads to stomach cramps. I switched out to milk alternatives a few years ago and feel so much better for it, although I’m still guilty of over indulging in cheese!
I’m not sure if this milk would work for me, but it’s an interesting concept!
This milk is free from the A1 protein that has been scientifically proven to cause bloating and irritations so it might be worth giving it a go. ????
We aren’t lactose intolerant in our house but this is great if you are! X
Definitely!!!
I love that this product is based on actual science. It’s such a great product!
Same here, it definitely makes a change in that respect. ????
Im not lactose intolerant (that I know of!) but I MUCH prefer diary-free milk. I don’t like the idea that cows milk also contains puss (ew!) but also dairy-free milk has a much sweeter taste naturally than cows milk – so its a win-win when it comes to choosing which milk we buy in our house!
I regularly have almond milk, but it’s lovely knowing that there is a cow’s milk out there that doesn’t cause bloating.
I think I heard that Jersey milk was A2. I grew up on that and it was raw milk too, so that’s what I put down my dairy tolerance too. I’d quite like to try A2 milk, but I haven’t seen any that’s organic.
I bet Jersey milk is lovely, so rich and creamy. I don’t think there is an organic version just yet.
this is interesting and I haven’t heard of it before. Like you I have tended to avoid dairy as I just find it bloats me – will look into it more
Hoe you like it if you give it a try!
I haven’t heard of a2 Milk before. I sounds intriguing. I usually add almond milk to my smoothies.
I use almond milk too, but this is a nice alternative if you have a lactose allergy.
I don’t suffer from Lactose intolerance – I’m quite lucky with that though I have often wondered if Toby does! Might have to give this a go 🙂 H x
It tastes like regular cow’s milk so it will do no harm to try it out.
I’m very lucky as I don’t have any allergies or intolerances but this would be wonderful for someone who does
Absolutely! ????
I have never heard of A2 milk before. My son used to have dairy allergies and while he has gotten much better, I think this would be a great alternative for him. I’ll have to look for it!
I hope it works out better for him.
I’ve heard of a2 and really need to give it a try because both myself and Toby are sensitive to regular cows milk xx
I think you would really see some benefits with it then.
I’ve only bewrdcsbout this recently its very interesting as inner knew about a2
It’s such a great finding isn’t it!
I am lactose intolerant and tried a2 milk, I really like the taste of it and it doesn’t upset my tummy!

Great to hear that you’ve had such great results with it.
I’ve never heard of this milk and therefore never tried it. Will suggest it to a friend that is lactose intolerant though. It’ll be great for her x
Yes, it would be so much better for her.
This would have been great when my eldest was a small, she had awful tummy troubles and was lactose intolerant. Wonder if something like this is available in Ireland? xx
I’m actually not sure if it’s available in airplane yet. I hope it is!
I have yet to try it – I prefer organic dairy where possible so if they did an organic version then I would be sold:)
