Finally, it’s time to reveal what I’ve been working on all week! Welcome to the new look Celery and Cupcakes everyone. As you can see, everything has changed around these parts and it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for so long now. My last blog revamp was about 3 years ago, so this one was a long time coming.
I wanted something that was more clean and tidy compared to the last design and a more cohesive theme that flowed nicely across the entire blog. A lot has changed in my personal life and I feel that this new design encompasses what I’m about and is more me. The very talented Eleni is a wonderful illustrator and she has worked wonders with the new artwork and I also have to say a massive thanks to Cat for all of her technical help.
Take a look around, I’ve updated my about page and I just adore my brand spanking new recipe page. It took a while to re-archive nearly 5 years worth of recipes, but I think it has been worth the effort because it’s become more user-friendly and easier to navigate as a result.
One exciting feature that I cannot wait to roll out later this month is the new Celery and Cupcakes newsletter. I’ve been talking about setting one up for ages and I thought this was the perfect time to do so. I want my newsletters to be like little hugs in your inbox, that you can sit back with a big cup of tea and enjoy. They will contain exclusive content that will never appear on the blog and will mainly revolve around health, lifestyle, fitness, my current inspirations, giveaways etc. Basically, similar content to the blog, but it shoots directly into your inbox. Cool right?! You can subscribe to receive your healthy dose of cupcake right here.
The artwork has also been updated on my Facebook and Twitter pages too with more of Eleni’s beautiful illustrations.
Behind the scenes, I’ve also been working on a new recipe e-book that will be FREE to subscribers that is focused on healthy and easy to make homemade snacks, which I hope will be ready by the end of the month. Here’s a sneaky peak of one of the recipes, this avocado chocolate brownie loaf topped with maple salted pecans is a winner.
Also, you may have noticed that I now mark my sponsored content with an asterisk (*) in the title so that you are instantly aware of what you are reading from the start. I will be doing the same with any affiliate links in the future too.
There’s still a couple of things that I would like to add and tweak, but this is essentially it. I really hope you love it as much as I do because I’m seriously smitten!

Thanks so much Lucy, it’s great to hear that you like it! I think it’s important to respect your readers intelligence and to maintain the integrity of your blog you have to be honest about sponsored content, for me it’s the only way.
