How is it December already?! The year is almost over and I can’t believe how fast it has flown by. This year has been full of good and bad moments for me, thankfully more of the former than the latter. Before I do usual my annual recap, slightly later than usual I have to recap last month, which was pretty good for me overall.
Only 15 days left until Christmas…eek!
November for us was really about finding our groove as parents and I really think that we are almost there, well with the basics anyway! We’ve gotten to grips with everyday life with Aiden and although sometimes it doesn’t go to plan we have learnt how to cope as opposed to going into complete meltdown mode. I made sure that I took some time here and there for myself too, even fitting in a mini shopping trip sans baby and treated myself to lunch at one of my favourite restaurants:
I’ve enjoyed some lovely days out this month with my little one…I love our adventures. We started to go to the baby group in our village and going to our local baby cafe tomorrow. It’s so great socialising with other mums and sharing our experiences.
We always go for a mama and son coffee date and I made it a bit of a thing last month and more often than not we end up wearing matching stripey outfits, a little boy after my own heart! 🙂
It’s not very often these days that I get the chance to get glammed up, so it was a real pleasure to be a bridesmaid at my very good friends wedding. It was our first family social event and we had a fabulous time.
Last month on the blog I shared some lovely recipes like my No Bake Bakewell Thumbprint Cookies and my Apple Cinnamon Raisin Cookie recipe.:
If you haven’t tried these yet then please do, they’ve become 2 of my most favourite recipes.

AJ is all set for Christmas with his adorable Christmas jumper!
Not wanting to sound like a stuck record, but I’m really looking forward to Christmas and what December has in store for me. The run up to Christmas is just the best and I plan on enjoying it to the max, celebrating with a big family Christmas. My aim is just to sit back and relax and enjoy the ride, and not worry about how much food I’ll be eating, just take my time with it and eat in moderation – I’ll be taking the same approach with exercise too. I’ve got a feeling that 2015 is going to be a fantastic year with lots of changes and having a wonderful Christmas seems like the perfect way to say goodbye to 2014.
What are you most looking forward to when it comes to Christmas? How was November for you?

It looks like you had an amazing month. November was good for me, but I’m so excited that it is December and that Christmas is fast approaching x
Not long till the big day now, I’m so excited for Christmas!
That is the most adorable Christmas jumper. I wish they did one in my size haha
Haha! I did actually think the same thing when I bought it! 🙂
What a lovely baby Christmas jumper!
I’m most looking forward to having a few days off work for Christmas and seeing my family. My head is filled with coursework deadlines and school panto productions at the moment!
I bet you are so busy at this time of year with term coming to an end. I hope that it’s not too stressful for you.
What a busy November! It’s so important to make time for yourself when you’ve just had a baby. The early days can be extremely stressful (not to say sleep deprived!), and it can be all too easy to forget about yourself. You look gorgeous in your bridesmaid’s dress. Yep, important for new mum to find time to glam up too! Tx
Oh definitely, it’s so important to make time for yourself!
That baby jumper is so so sweet Jemma!!
I agree, a super cute find!
Seems like you had a great month. I love the cute little Christmas jumper, and love hot chocolate with marshmallows! yum! x
Marshmallows in hot chocolate is the best!
Loved your reading your round up for November, best month to come now enjoy xx
Thanks, Sharon. Yes, I totally love Christmas too, making December a fabulous month!
The matching stripey tops are so adorable. It sounds like you’ve had a life changing month!
I’ve still not tried your no bake recipe. They look so good! Must get on that this week 🙂
Ooooh you must let me know how you get on with them. 🙂
Looks like November has been a fab month for you! That blue dress looks absolutely stunning on you!
Thanks Lucie!
That jumper is so cute! I have seen so many actual nice jumpers instead of tacky ones this year.
Same here! I think the growth in popularity of Christmas jumpers has helped in that department.
