Last month we took the bump on holiday. This was a time for Alfie and I to relax, reflect and regroup before our little lentil enters the world. We had such an amazing time and it was probably one of my favourite holidays. There were no holiday blues on our last day as we felt ready to come home by that point, not because we were bored, but because we had achieved what we had set out to: enjoy the moment, chill out and forget about everything at home.
I do have a full recap scheduled for next week, but for now I thought I would share some of my favourite photographs of my bump on holiday. With such beautiful scenery and weather it was too good of an opportunity to resist. My professional maternity shoot is later this month, but we thought that we would capture some shots whilst on holiday too.
I’m really pleased with how these came out. At times I did feel like a bit of an idiot and big (which I’m guessing is normal when you’re pregnant!), but these are definitely something that I will look back on and cherish. My all time favourite photo which I think captures the mood of our holiday perfectly and this extremely special time is a natural shot actually taken on my iPhone by a fellow tourist. Happy memories!

Congrats on your baby! I didn’t have a maternity shoot when I was pregnant. I’m not good at posing for pictures so the thought of it deterred me.

What a fun trip! We went on a babymoon too. It was well worth it to get away before baby came. All of your outfits are so cute, too. It always seems like when I’m pregnant nothing is cute, but when I’m not I think all of the maternity things are cute, haha.
