Happy Friday friends! Hope you’ve all had a great week! Since getting back from my holiday the clouds have started to set in as the week has gone by. With rain forecast for this weekend I don’t think that I will be getting out my shorts and flip-flops and enjoying ice cream in my garden.
Not to say that summer is over, but I’ve been looking at some transitional pieces that will help bridge the gap between summer and dare I say it autumn. H&M have recently released their new season collection and I’ve been checking it out and selected some of my favourite pieces:

It looks like they’re going down the route of lots of different textures, simple lines and printed fabrics. This look is very me in the sense that I adore items that I can just throw on, still feel comfortable and look like I have made a real effort, when in actual fact I haven’t. I think that these items would make a great capsule collection. The only thing missing is a great pair of jeans, perhaps a longer coat and a cosy jumper.

I love H&M for clothes … So affordable! I especially love that skirt and I’ve already started on my winter wardrobe (oops!)
I definitely have a capsule wardrobe. As I’ve got older I’ve found my style and supplement it each season. I tend to spend more on less items and wear them for several seasons

Jersey top + wool cardigan + leggings and boots, right up my alley. I love H&M, it’s my staple for regular clothes, they’re the only place that fits me in pants absolutely perfectly. Love your picks, we have similar style 🙂

I totally love that jacket! I like that skirt too, and could definitely get behind wearing loafers again. I love fall clothes and can’t wait til the weather starts cooling down enough for me to wear them!
