An important part of my hygiene routine in the morning is to apply deodorant after showering.  It sounds quite trivial when you think about it, but for me it’s just as essential as my cleanse, tone and moisturise mantra that I swear by.  I’ve tried a few deodorants in my time,  there are so many on offer that it can be quite some time until you find one that works for you.  I’ve had some experiences in the past where horrid white stains have been left on my clothes from my deodorant or it simply didn’t provide me with enough protection.  Something like applying deodorant should be easy and straightforward without leaving you worrying about the possibility of sweat patches and stains.

NIVEA have developed it’s new Powder Touch, an antiperspirant with impact as well as a gentle touch.  It kindly touches your skin leaving it soft and dries very quickly – giving you 48 hours of protection.  One of the main ingredients is Kaolin powder, which is responsible for the resulting silky feeling and the quick drying action.  A blend of fresh citrus, Bergamot and orange, extracts of rose and Lily of the Valley gives this deodorant it’s distinctive scent, leaving you smelling fresh as a daisy all day.

Immense physical activity requires a good antiperspirant, ballerina Jennie describes how she takes care of her underarms:

‘This is obviously quite a crucial part of a dancer’s anatomy as the underarm area is in constant view, but at the same time we need to feel fresh and comfortable. We make big demands of the products we use, which need to be effective against the demands of our physical activity and at the same time present a soft/smooth underarm whilst we are dancing on stage. NIVEA products tick all these boxes for me.’

Feeling comfortable is vital to a woman’s confidence and daily happiness.  Something like applying a decent and reliable deodorant can make all the difference.  In response to Jennie’s thoughts on the importance of the underarm area to dancers NIVEA has developed a short film which can be viewed below:

No woman is the same and NIVEA has taken this in account and have released the Powder range in three different variants: spay, roll-on and in a stick form, which are all on sale nationwide now.
