Making a new house a home is one of my favourite things to do as I love home interiors.  Since moving to our new home we have put our own personal stamp on our adorable little cottage and really love living here.  One of the things that has helped us add our personality to our home is up-cycling old run-down furniture and giving it a new lease of life, it’s a bit like giving an old dog a new home.  Therefore, I was very happy to be given the opportunity to test-drive the new Outspiration app before its launch. 

The idea behind the app is to basically allow you to find inspiration for you to utilise in your outdoor space.  Most of us are put off by decorating in the garden due to the weather and this app aims to prevent that from happening…there are no excuses now!  The app actually contains a weather report that is updated daily so you can spruce up your outdoor space and avoid the bad weather.  

There are many exciting functions on this app that are very useful.  For instance the Visualiser tab allows you see the potential colour of the walls or furniture that you are looking to change, allowing you try out a variety of colours before you even lift a brush.  The Frosted Glass paint by Cuprinol is a perfect match for my garden bench.  The app allows you to visit the product web page to give you more information about the paint. 

Another function that I quite liked is the project tab which allows you to upload your current working project to the app and lets you see what other users are working on.  The idea is that you will also become outspired by their projects and them by yours also.
