The other weekend Grease was showing on the television and I just couldn’t resist watching it. I’ve seen it a million times before, but I just love looking at those pretty 1950s dress and the cheesy story line always pulls me in. When I was younger I always wanted to be a part of the Pink Ladies gang, although I’m probably not cool enough for them, a girl can dream right?
With the Pink Ladies in mind I noticed around the shops last weekend that they are channeling our favourite girl gang with lots of pink fashion. I thought that I would pick out some of my favourite highlights from the web and high street.
1. Coverse, Chuck Taylor all star neon ox K, Sarenza
2. Chevron earrings, Etsy
3. Diva Lydia 3/4 sleeve pink rib dress, DivaCup
4. Floral pink double layer top, New Look
5. Michael Kors jet travel tote, Selfridges
6. Fluffy cardigan, H&M
7. Leather look pencil skirt, River Island
8. Pink Katie Rail iPhone 5 case by Marc Jacobs bunny case, Liberty
Personally I have never been drawn to pink clothing, but recently I have picked up a few bits like my handbag and a fluffy cardigan like the H&M one shown here. I’m also quite fond of that Marc Jacobs iPhone case, it’s so cute! Again I don’t think I could step out wholly in pink, but I think a few pieces here and there is a great way to get my Pink Lady fix – I wonder if the Pink Ladies would let me in?
Did you ever want to be apart of the Pink Ladies?
What is your favourite colour to wear out and about?

OOoh I love that Diva dress! I’m a big fan of purple, and teal 🙂
Teal is such a beautiful colour, love it!
Every time Grease is on, I just can’t stop myself from watching it. Despite the fact that I have seen it so many times. I must admit, I just like singing along 🙂
I think it’s the songs that do it, they definitely get me singing all of the time. 🙂
I love those chevron earrings! Cute!
They are super cute. 🙂
I swoon at the handbag. How I long for it! The DivaCup dress as well is lovely.
I tend to stick to blacks a lot, or purples. I’m not a huge colour fan I’ve found!
I adore that handbag, the colour is amazing. 🙂
Um yes I did and still do! Love those ladies! I hate to say it but I wear a lot of black but if its not black its usually very bright or sequiny!
They are fab aren’t they. I always wanted to be in their gang.
I love the pink 😉 I am the blonde therefore I choose only pink accents – not to look as Barbie of the size plus. And I will always prefer pastel tone to the bright – if only it not clothes for training 😉
Pink is a fabulous colour, I bet it looks great on you.
Am loving these Fashion Friday posts Jemma! Today I’ve coveting the pink converses – I’m not a huge fan of pink items either but a little burst of it would look great I reckon!
Glad that you are enjoying these posts Lucy! 🙂
Last Summer I went to a drive-in showing of Grease in Peterborough which was so much fun. We parked our cars infront of a massive inflatable screen and then tuned our car radios into the audio for the film. Several people dressed up for the showing and people came between rows of cars selling popcorn throughout.
I don’t tend to wear much pink, but that dress caught my eye…
That sounds amazing, I would love to go to a drive in showing of my favourite movie. 🙂
