At the weekend I went on a little shopping trip and a few essentials. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular but I had a voucher to spend in Zara and saw a few things that I liked. Well quite a few things to be honest but I managed to limit it to just a couple of items.
I’ve wanted some different coloured jeans for a while and have lusted over some of the candy coloured options available at the moment, but I’m not sure if I could pull them off. I spotted these khaki coloured skinnies in Zara that I thought were perfect. I love the turned up detail and the fact they are quite a placid shade so they will easily mix in with my other stuff.
This blouse also caught my eye, the print had me at hello. The simplicity and un-fussy look of the top is very me and the small coloured print is a nice change to the floral prints that I am usually drawn too. Believe it or not there is a great big slit down the front of the top, which is why it drapes the way it does. I will definitely be wearing a vest top under it for sure.
As a little extra I also bagged this breton stripe t-shirt. I got this in a larger size so that it’s a bit more baggy. It’s so basic but I love it and I have a thing for nautical stripes, especially in the summer anyway so I thought why not.
These patent nude sling backs will go with anything and I knew that I had to have them when I saw them on ASOS. I love that they have a small kitten heel too so they won’t be at all difficult to walk in.
When was the last time that you went shopping? What was the last item of clothing that you bought?
What fashion piece are you currently coveting?

Ooooh. The shoes. Love them. So cute. The blouse is really sweet as well.
Thank you! 🙂
Love all of these gorgeous clothes Jemma, especially the striped t-shirt!
You can’t beat a striped t-shirt! 🙂
Yeah I’m exactly the same as you with the pastel jeans, I don’t think I could pull them off! I love the colour of the ones you got, they’ll go with so many colours 🙂
That’s what I though, they are far more versatile.
Those khaki jeans are much nicer than pastel ones (I think)- they will go with more colours too.
You are right and will be good for autumn too. 🙂
I love that blouse – so pretty. I’m currently coveting a Mango maxi dress but probably should wait until it goes into the sale! x
