Well I don’t know about you, but I like to consider myself quite a savvy shopper especially in the fashion department. A lot of the clothes that I buy are on promotional or in the sale. I see fashion as a hobby for me as I love looking at the latest trends and making up outfits. You can see some of my Outfit of the Day posts here.
With all of this lovely sunny weather that we have been having (albeit intermittent) it’s got me wanting update my wardrobe with some key summer pieces. There are some great fashion bargains out there at the moment and I have been scouring the internet looking for some budget and low cost fashion pieces to get me ready for summer:

I just love the bright colour of the maxi skit, it will look great with a basic t-shirt and waist belt. The tailored blazer is just so versatile that it could go with anything!
I’ve also been eying up some summer footwear too. I’m on the look out for a pair of statement sandals and tan wedges for this summer and fell in love with these:

These would look great with skinny jeans or a pretty maxi dress and can be dressed up or down.
I need to go shopping so badly!

My dad’s a banker, so he has made sure to teach me the basics of savvy shopping. I tell you though, it has taken a while to get the hang of. To help me make wise choices, I follow a 2 day rule: when I come across something I like, I don’t purchase it straight away; instead, I put it on hold at the store, or simply put it in the back of my mind, and if I’m still thinking about it after 2 days, then I go ahead and treat myself to it. That way I avoid impulse shopping, which I used to be the biggest culprit of… Lovely clothing choices, by the way 🙂
