Since giving up meat over 18 months ago I have got a lot of questions from readers regarding how I manage to still get protein in my diet.
I still eat fish occasionally but I have discovered so many other wonderful sources of protein, which I thought I would talk about in a vlog!
Well, those are my favourite sources of protein, I hope you found this vlog helpful. There are so many diverse non-meat sources of protein out there these days, which is fabulous !
What are your favourite sources of protein? Are you impressed with the current non-meat alternatives out there?

I don’t like fake meat alternatives, I turned veggie because I didn’t like the taste of meat, so I don’t want something to replicate that, I also find a lot of them are very processed. I tend to avoid soy products too, so I mostly stick to beans, lentils and grains like quinoa for my protein. Nuts and seeds are another great source for me as well as nut butters. I love my sunwarrior protein powder, totally addicted and always add that to smoothies. Other than that something like spirulina/supergreens, and also green leafy veggies pack in a high amount of protein.
I haven’t tried sun warrior yet, I really need to change that!
Haha I love your accccccent!!!!!
Hahaha! 😀
And I love your sources of protein 😉 xoxo
Thanks! 😀
Between all the nut butter, grains, beans, greek yogurt, tofu, tempeh, fortified almond milk, protein bars, and more out there, it’s super easy for me to get protein! Even without meat alternatives, though I throw those in now and then (not too often, though, as I don’t quite like the taste of meat)
I love that there are so many great choices out there now!
Great vlog! I’m trying to add extra protein into my diet, this is really useful!
Thanks, I’m glad it helped!
