Well I think for me it is easy to say that September was definitely my month.  It has been amazing!

It was a month just full of major changes:

I finally handed in my thesis…

I gave such a huge sigh of relief when I let this one go.  It has been a tough and long journey, but so worth it!

In addition to that another major aspect of my life has also changed, in the fact I have moved house, yay! It’s so exciting!  I hated packing but finding new homes for our belongings has been fun.  I have a more house related post on cards soon.

Also, my little blog had a makeover to celebrate its 2 year blogiversary! I’m still chuffed with the way it looks, I hope you like it too!

September involved lots of shopping trips and wedding orientated fun!  I recently blogged about my recent purchases for my wedding going away outfit.  I’m so in love with both of these dresses!

Going shopping with my soon to be sister and mother-in-law made me realise what an amazing family I am marrying into.  I have never felt so welcome and we get on really well.  I guess a lot of people would feel nervous about going shopping with their mother-in-laws to be, but there were no nerves to be had here.  It was such a great shopping trip! =)

I’ve also been embracing my new approach to my diet with eating more variety and products with a higher fat content.  At one point I had been contemplating eating meet again, but at this point I don’t think I am ready for that right now. I’m by no means a vegetarian but last year I seriously went off meat ad haven’t eaten it in over 18 months now.  I don’t miss it at all, but was just interested in experimenting and seeing how my body would react to eating meat again.

I have come on in leaps and bounds over the last few months and eating meat again would see me go full circle with my diet, but since I’m not feeling it right now I don’t want to force the issue.

Overall, September was a pretty amazing month and I’m very excited for October with the run up to the wedding.  I have been getting very productive already with more DIY projects and generally getting lots of wedding errands crossed off our very long to-do list.  It’s so nice to see everything taking shape.  There is such a buzz in our family at the moment with everyone talking about the wedding.  I feel truly blessed with such amazing friends and family and I cannot wait to celebrate this special time with them.

I accomplished all of my goals for September and then some.  For October I just want to buckle down on my wedding planning and embrace it fully.  I don’t know what I am going to do with all of my spare time after the wedding.

Although there are a few other things that I would like to work on:

  • Research my future career options
  • Enjoy lots of quality time with my friends and family
  • Eat lots of pumpkin and squash
  • Get back to budgeting
  • Explore beautiful Oxfordshire and what it has to offer.
  • Get on with decorating out new home

So there is a lot planned for October.  I’m also looking forwards to the darker evenings, the leaves on the trees changing colour, Halloween celebrations, and lots of cosy night in with the hubby to be. I adore autumn!

How was September for you?  What do you have in store for October?
