What to create a morning routine, but don’t feel that you have the time?
I SEE you! As a mum of 4, I totally know how it feels not to have any time for myself.
You’ll usually see me in the morning whizzing through the house like a tornado, however, I always make sure that I make time to nourish myself with some positive habits using whatever little time that I can grab.
I know it may feel impossible to practice a morning routine, but I’m not about the insta-perfect – I’m all about the practical and realistic.
This guide is going to walk you through how you can consistently ease yourself into the morning to kickstart a positive day.
I’ve created this for you if you…
+ Always have good intentions around starting a morning routine, but never keep it up
+ Feel like you don’t have time for anything else in the morning other than getting ready
+ Would like to create a morning routine, but not sure what to include and how it should look
+ Don’t think you need a morning routine to start your day positively
+ Feel like you’re going to fail at keeping it up so feel anxious about starting one
I also realised that I focus on things that are not actually “well being sexy” (her words, not mine) eg. getting the dishwasher unloaded and sorting laundry but that actually I do that because that helps to set me up for the day as they are tasks that make my life easier if they are done in the morning.
I also realised, through her examples of things that could be included in a routine (meditation, yoga, journaling, etc), that I need to incorporate some more self care into my morning routine when I can and that this is something that I want to work on bringing into my mornings somehow. I am quite an organised person anyway but this resource has helped me to really focus on how I can set myself up for the day ahead.”
