Give joy to your loved ones at Christmas time
AD with Boots
Can you believe that Christmas is now only a few weeks away? I’m unsure where this year has gone, but I’m very excited that the festivities are beginning. Some of my neighbours have already started to put up their Christmas trees and outdoor decorations. The kids have had the Christmas songs on the radio for weeks, and it’s definitely got me in the mood to dive into all things festive.
I’m such a Christmas fairy, and without a doubt, it’s my favourite time of year. The run-up to Christmas is just the best. Time with family, the Christmas events and markets, wrapping presents, twinkly fairy lights, cosying up on the sofa watching Christmas movies – it’s such a special time of year. I fully get involved and face-plant myself right in.
Since having kids, I’m all for being organised when it comes to preparing for Christmas rather than leaving it to the last minute. It means I can enjoy the season more without feeling stressed or worried that I’ve forgotten anything. I’ve already started my Christmas shopping which I’m really enjoying.
I was really happy when Boots asked me to partner with them and help show how we can all celebrate and give back to the givers in our lives. They have such a wide range of gifts to suit all budgets and lots of Christmas deals to enjoy.

Getting started with Christmas gift buying
I knew that I wasn’t on my own when it came to starting my gift buying early Still, I was surprised to see from conversations that I’ve had over social media that some of you started buying gifts in the summer and, I thought I was being early with starting in late October, obviously not! I would feel pretty smug if I’d finished all my Christmas shopping by the end of the summer.

Creating special Christmas moments for loved ones
For me, seeing the faces of people when they open their gifts is my favourite part of Christmas, and I love creating special moments for my nearest and dearest. This is especially so for my little ones. I love seeing their excitement as they tear off the wrapping paper. I’ve been looking at Christmas gifts for kids and have seen many amazing ideas to create joyful moments this season. I think Jenga is always a fun game that brings the family together, young and old. Also, I liked the idea of this Tonies Starter Set, which I think all my little ones will enjoy.
Christmas gift-buying struggles
Sometimes buying gifts can be a struggle. We all have that one person who you just have no idea what to buy for them. When you’re told that “I have everything I need” of course it’s very lovely, but it certainly doesn’t make gift buying any easier. I think I’m pretty easy to buy for. However, my husband can sometimes be a nightmare because he also says he has everything he wants. Sweet, but really not helpful! Luckily there’s some fantastic Christmas gift ideas for men at Boots if you’re struggling. I don’t think you can go wrong with a fragrance for the man in your life and I highly recommend DIOR Sauvage Eau de Parfum with its spicy warm notes.
My lovely teenage nieces can always feel tricky to buy for, too. They’re a little older now and have gone past the age of playing with toys, but I think they will really appreciate some of these stocking fillers for teenagers, which look amazing. I think a Blossom & Wood Gingerbread Candle*, paired with A Little Something Bath Fizzer Collection would make the perfect gifts for a relaxing pamper evening.
*never leave a burning candle unattended

There are some lovely Christmas gift ideas for women over at Boots.com. I really want to give joy and relaxation this year, so I chose this Profusion Gel Nails set for my mum. My aunty has had quite a challenging year, and she definitely deserves a gentle and calming moment to herself, which I thought could be achieved with the Dove Time To Relax Moments Gift Set that I know she will really appreciate.

Over on the gifts for gym lovers page, I spotted this beautiful Garmin Vívomove® Sport Smartwatch. It’s both practical and stylish, just perfect for that special person who is into fitness but doesn’t want to compromise on style when it comes to tracking their stats.
I got totally lost and engrossed in all the different options but selected some gorgeous gifts to give joy to my loved ones this Christmas. It feels so heart-warmingly wonderful to be able to give back to my friends and family to show how grateful I am to have them in my life and for the amazing support that they have given me.
