How to Find Alignment in Your Life

Do you feel like you’re living in a state of alignment?

Over the past few months, a lot of people have been giving themselves the opportunity to think about how they want their life to look, how they want to feel, and the things they want in their life.

Pinpointing whether you’re living in a state of alignment can be confusing if you’re not sure what you want in the first place. It’s important to have clarity around the life that you want to live and how that shows up for you.

Living in alignment can feel like a myth at the beginning, like an impossible dream that doesn’t feel like it will ever materialise. However, it is possible and it can become a reality if you take positive and purposeful steps in the right direction.

I love helping my 1:1 coaching clients get clear on their big vision, define their why, and put together a plan of actionable steps to make a life that they love a reality.

Bringing more alignment in my life enabled me to reconnect with myself, step into my true potential, and allowed me to thrive. I’ve seen the same thing happen to my coaching clients too and it’s been so magical to witness.

There is nothing more wonderful than embracing your authenticity, owning your power and inner strength, and shining that into the world.  Doing meaningful work and living with purpose is a beautiful way to exist.

When you think about living in alignment, focus on how this may show up in your life and what it would mean for you:

  • What impact would thriving instead of surviving have on your life?
  • Maybe it would mean that you have a better sense of connection and purpose?
  • Perhaps it would mean a better balance in your life?
  • It could mean more clarity and focus on the things that bring you joy?
  • Could it look like having more time and energy to show up for yourself?

If you’re looking to discover more alignment in your life, these 3 questions will help you identify whether your current routine or habits are helping you create a life full of intention.

Is your current life serving you?

The best way to tackle this question is to really think about your current day to day life and how it’s making you feel.    Do you wake up energised and ready to dive into the day or are you filled with dread at the thought of what’s to come?

Sit down and write a list of how your life is or isn’t serving you. Then think about the meaningful steps and tweaks that you could make to change things around.

Are you investing your energy in the right things?

The way we spend our time and energy is important if we want to live in alignment. So many of us agree to do things that we don’t really want to do or feel afraid to say no.  This time and energy could be put to valuable us into making yourself flourish rather than drained and overwhelmed.

Being protective of your energy will also create the much-needed space that you need to do the things that you love and enjoy, which ultimately will automatically bring in more alignment and grounding.

Do your current routines and habits make you feel good?

How is your current routine helping you create the life that you want?  This is such a powerful question that I ask my 1:1 coaching clients all the time and it brings up so many enlightening things about what they want to change about their current lifestyles.

When you lean into what makes you feel good, that’s when things start to really happen for you. For many, this means adopting high-impact wellness habits, such as using a Polar Dive USA cold plunge tub to build mental resilience and start the day with a surge of energy and focus.

You’re in a more positive mindset, you feel more in control, and ultimately happier and joyful with your life.
