After the busyness of a wonderful summer, I’m gearing up for cosy evenings, comfort food, and finding joy in the little things 🤎

Turns out, having no TV and no car for most of the Turns out, having no TV and no car for most of the summer wasn’t quite the disaster I thought it was going to be 😂😅

Thankfully, the car situation is now sorted and we have a new car 🚗🥳 The TV, we’ll get a new one eventually. 😂 It just hasn’t been a priority, mainly because it’s not in the budget right now, but we haven’t missed it as much as I thought we would.

Don’t worry, the kids have still had plenty of screen time like movie nights on the projector, and watching things on the laptop. But without the TV there to just have on, we’ve naturally done other things instead.

And it’s actually reminded me a bit of being a kid in the 90s.  I’m definitely not saying we should all get rid of our TVs and live like it’s 1996 😂 but maybe there is something to be said for having a little less sometimes.l 🫶🏽✨

I can’t believe my baby boy starts secondary school this week. 😭

Had to include “you can do anything, but not every Had to include “you can do anything, but not everything” as it’s become a bit of a mantra for me since becoming a mum. It’s a reminder that I don’t have to be everything to everyone or get everything ticked off a list, and my best is always good enough. Save this to come back to on those hard days. 🫶🏽✨

Let’s just say I’m going to be emotionally unhinge Let’s just say I’m going to be emotionally unhinged when September comes 😭 With the twins starting primary school in 2 weeks and Aiden starting secondary school, this feels like such a massive shift. All 3 of them are totally ready for this next step, but I’m not sure I am. 😅😆
